- Best overall sports nutrition book. Very precise and non biased
- I recently purchased a book on nutrition by another publisher and found it to be very informative. However, Sport Nutrition goes much into much further detail about how your body uses food and water. Cellular processes are explained to give the reader a very biological understanding of the way we use food and produce energy.
- This used textbook was in really great condition when received in the mail. It was almost as if it were brand new instead of already having been used. The book also contained an excellent amount of information based on the subject. Very detailed and informative; all for a very good and cheap price!
- If I have to choose between this book and Manore's (2000), I don't think I can decide. Both are very good, but this one has the latest information about sports nutrition. If you're thinking about buying another book, than you really make one big mistake.
